Dr. Ronnie Keith has been practicing bariatric surgery with a multi-disciplinary team since 2002. He has performed thousands of weight loss surgeries and has especially enjoyed the opportunities to assist in the training of other bariatric surgeons across the US. His weight loss surgery program is recognized as being dedicated and responsive to the individual patient’s needs.
Pioneer
Dr. Keith was the leader in developing a multi-disciplinary option for weight loss surgery patients in his geographic area. His was one of the first programs to offer the advantages of in-office nutritional and behavioral health providers, as well as offering laparoscopic procedure choices for the prospective patient.

Dr. Keith is the founder of OKlahoma WEIGHT LOSS OPtions and co-founder of the weight loss surgery program at Norman, OK. The program is recognized as Center of Excellence by ASMBS and designated Center of Distinction/Excellence by multiple third party carriers. The program is one of only a few in the country certified as Disease-Specific Care in Morbid Obesity by the Joint Commission. This program recognizes that in order to stay successful, we must change and adapt our prior practices even though they resulted in achievement.
Nationally Recognized
Dr. Ronnie Keith has assisted with teaching of other surgeons to perform Lap-Band, Realize Band and Gastric Bypass procedures across the country. His facility has served as a teaching site for fluoroscopic adjustments of the Lap-Band and the hospital for instructing in the performing of various weight loss surgery procedures. Most recently, he has become a teaching option for the PLICATED Adjustable Gastric Band (LAP-BAND).
Highly Experienced
Ronnie Keith, DO has performed over 8,500 laparoscopic surgeries and over 3,000 weight loss surgical procedures. His program offers the Roux-n-Y Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy, Lap-Band, Realize band and revision surgeries. He has benefited from the teaching opportunities presented in assisting other surgeons in beginning or expanding their programs.

Dr. Keith is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (Fellow designation), American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (Fellow designation), Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and multiple regional/state organizations.
