Dr. RoseMarie Jones is a highly-skilled weight loss surgeon, serving at the Community Hospital North Bariatric Center of Excellence in Indianapolis Indiana. She has more than 22 years of surgical experience and has devoted her practice to laparoscopic bariatric procedures. Dr. Jones has been involved in resident education as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery, and has held leadership positions at several hospitals, including Chairman of Surgery Quality Management, and Chief of Medical Staff.

As a practicing weight loss surgeon since 1995, Dr. RoseMarie Jones is a pioneer in bariatric surgical care. She was one of the first group of surgeons to switch from traditional surgery methods to the less invasive laparaoscopic surgery techniques over ten years ago.

Dr. Jones serves as Medical Director of the bariatric program at the Community Hospital (North) of Indiana, where she has helped the program to its current status as a nationally recognized Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. Additionally, she has over 22 years of experience and was Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine, as well as Councilor for the Indian Chapter of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. RoseMarie Jones has been involved with several research studies. She received a grant from the American Heart Association for “In Vitro Seeding of Dermal Vascular Grafts” early in her career, and currently has several research protocols pertaining to obesity genetics, blood sugar regulation, metabolism and related topics.
