Prior to joining the Northwest Weight Loss Surgery Center in 2002, Dr. Montgomery was a busy staff surgeon at the Everett Clinic in Everett, Washington for 10 years. He is an innovative researcher, and is currently a Principal Investigator for several key studies in bariatric medicine.

Dr. Kevin Montgomery is recognized as a leading bariatric surgeon not only in the Pacific Northwest, but across the country, as well. Recently, he was a guest lecturer at the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery’s Fall Conference, where he shared his expertise in Adjustable Gastric Banding Outpatient Surgery.

As a lead researcher in his field, Dr. Montgomery is currently a Primary Investigator for several on-going studies, including the LBMI (“Low Body Mass Index”) LAP-BAND study sponsored by Allergan. Also of note, Dr. Montgomery will be a Primary Investigator for a new 14 week urge incontinence drug study.
