NYU Langone Weight Management Program
Dr. Bradley Schwack is a highly skilled bariatric surgeon practicing at the NYU Langone Weight Management Program, and is also an Assistant Professor of Surgery at NYU. He is Lap-Band and Realize Band certified and has completed hundreds of bariatric procedures and revisions. Dr. Schwack has published a number of articles and videos, covering topics including intestinal malrotation, adjustable gastric banding, gastric bypass, as well as cancer and gene therapies.

Dr. Schwack developed an interest in laparoscopic surgery and bariatrics early in his career, during his residency in general surgery at NYU Medical School. After finishing his residency, he was selected to complete an advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville, which involved intensive training in all forms of minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery.

Bradley Schwack, MD has been invited to speak at both national and international events related to the fields of laparoscopic general surgery and bariatric surgery. Dr Schwack has spoken at SAGES in Washington DC and San Diego; EAES in Vienna, Paris, Brussels, and Geneva; IFSO in Berlin; and the American College of Surgeons in San Francisco.

Prior to joining NYU, Dr. Schwack completed an advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship at the University of Louisville. He has performed hundreds of bariatric and revisional surgeries and is dedicated to long-term follow-up care of his patients.
