He has been asked to speak at dozens of presentations, even traveling to Germany to discuss the safety and effectiveness of gastric bypass surgery in super obese patients at the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) 14th International Congress.

Dr. Scott Cunneen is an avid researcher, most recently working as Co-Investigator for several monumental studies including a Single-arm, Multi-center Study of the Safety and Effectiveness of the Swedish Adjustable Gastric Band (SAGB) in the Treatment of Morbid Obesity, and an Assessment of Vocal Cord Damage or Impaired Vocal Cord Function after Prolonged Intubation.
