Additionally, Dr. Ewing has held the position of Assistant Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship, as well as Assistant Attending Department of Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery Section at HUMC in New Jersey.

Additionally, Dr. Ewing has presented and spoken about his work at several national surgical meetings, and has given video presentations to other surgeons in Europe and the US.

Dr. Ewing has earned several academic awards, as well as awards for surgical excellence. He was awarded both the St. Luke’s Roosevelt Department of Surgery Award for Excellence in Laparoscopic Surgery and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons Resident Achievement Awards. He was also honored with inclusion in the “Best Physicians as Chosen by Nurses” for New Jersey monthly magazine in February 2010.
